Why do you train?
I have always loved training and seeing how my body can change in such a positive way. I was a collegiate beach volleyball player at Pepperdine University and I loved the training process and seeing how it would translate to my sport. I have been around indoor volleyball and beach volleyball my whole life and so the gym is my second home.
What is your training style?
I believe that people are training for life. Life changes as does what we are training for, whether it is for a specific sport, or becoming a parent, or just maintaining. There is always something that we can work towards.
Training Advice for Others
My advice to people is that it all starts with a foundation, once you get those foundational movements you can build and build and truly see what you are capable of. Allow yourself to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Experience
My passion for fitness training started as a volleyball athlete. She played collegiate beach volleyball at Pepperdine University and played professionally in New Zealand after college. I have always loved the training process and seeing how it translates to the game. I have been around volleyball and beach volleyball my whole life and have always loved the training atmosphere.
