Rakim Anim

FOUNDER / Performance Director

Rakim has diverse experience in training youth, collegiate, and professional athletes in a variety of settings. His experience began as a volunteer strength coach at Minnesota State Mankato where he completed his Bachelors in Exercise Science. He then went on to the University of Minnesota to pursue a Masters Degree in Applied Kinesiology. At his time at the U of M, Rakim worked with the strength and conditioning staff training the following gopher teams: volleyball, women’s basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, wrestling, baseball, softball, swimming, gymnastics, swimming/diving, and rowing.

Nicola Tade

Group Fitness Coordinator

Nicola got her start training in a corporate wellness setting, helping individuals who sit at a desk all day increase their fitness level. This is where she gained her passion for helping people become lifestyle athletes, to encourage people to train so they can live pain-free, and so they can enjoy doing the things they love. She also has a background in yoga, both as a primary means of staying fit, and as a restorative exercise as a complement to strength and conditioning programs. Nicola also has experience as a health coach, which means she is an awesome accountability partner an can help you create habits that will maximize your potential!

Kunle Ayinde

Head PERFORMANCE COACH

Kunle has an extensive background in human performance both as a collegiate athlete at the University of Minnesota where he served as captain of the football team in 2014 -2018. Kunle graduated with a kinesiology degree in 2018 from the U o fM and gained experience coaching high school football at Blaine and De La Salle. Kunle’s passion is helping athletes achieve their athletic goals and pursuing their dreams. With his experience as a former college athlete as well having different opportunities in the NFL and CFL it has taught him a lot about how to train and how to optimize performance. Kunle is excited to help athletes from all sports and individuals who wants to take control of their health and performance.

Antawan Walker

LEAD SPORTS PERFORMANCE COACH | ATHLETE RECRUITER

Antawan’s coaching philosophy is” being able to have athletes make one more play for their team.” Antawan has emphasized this principle while training athletes over the past seven years. He has enjoyed being a Head Track and Field Coach, Head Performance Coach, and Defensive Coordinator at the high school level. Antawan has trained 1000+ athletes from Youth, High School, Collegiate, and Pro levels. Antawan has been an essential part of N1 Motion for years, he can’t wait to help you reach your goals!

Beth Parlin

Performance COACH

Beth ran track in college while pursuing an Exercise Science degree. Her training style focuses largely on ensuring that an individual moves efficiently to be able to prevent injuries before adding load. Once that groundwork is done and the individual is comfortable with the movement, then the fun begins. Beth loves training every individual like an athlete and adding in functional movements that will challenge them and get the best results. She believes fitness is valuable to being able to stay mobile and active as we grow older and no longer compete in addition to optimize performance for sports.

Jordyn Wiley 

Performance COACH

Jordyn believes coaching starts with making sure you build a great foundation. Making sure movement patterns are solid and habits are healthy, then once that is accomplished we push to reach our greatest potential. Jordyn earned her Masters of Science at The College of St. Scholastica and her Bachelors at Minnesota State University in Mankato. She wants each and every athlete she works with to make themselves better each and every day, and accomplish their dreams!

Bianca Taylor

Member Experience Associate 

Bianca is passionate about delivering service that is outstanding, she has been around the sports performance setting for over 5 years! She believes that service should have value and provided to all N1 Motion members with genuine care. Bianca has played softball for 17 years and coached for 4 years with extensive knowledge, while currently earning her degree from Utah Valley University. Bianca cannot wait to help you with everything N1 Motion and help you achieve your goals!

Spencer Browne

Performance COACH

Spencer enjoys connecting with his athletes and fellow coaches to make a larger impact on their journey. Spencer has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU). He will help you achieve your goals and keep you motivated throughout your journey. Spencer will always enjoy working with volleyball athletes of all ages!

Jacob Angermeyr

Performance COACH

Jacob Angermeyr has a strong background in Exercise, strength and conditioning, and psychology with a bachelor’s degree from Augustana University(Sioux Falls). Jacob wants you to meet your fitness goals along with helping you refine your athletic abilities. He wants you to focus on taking it one day at a time and keep track of as many things as you can so you always feel you are improving at something even if it’s not immediately obvious.
