Why do you train?
When I was a sophomore in high school I became passionate about strength and conditioning. I would look forward to my teams weight room sessions almost more than I would my sports practices. I even gave up basketball to compete in weightlifting. I love creating a connection with my athletes and clients and being able to push them to do things that they once looked at and thought it would be impossible to achieve.
What is your training style?
My training style focuses largely on ensuring that an individual moves efficiently to be able to prevent injuries before adding load. Once that groundwork is done and the individual is comfortable with the movement, then the fun begins I love training every individual like an athlete and adding in jumps, plyometrics, and agility to programs since these are all skills that are valuable to being able to stay mobile and active as we grow older and no longer compete.
